WHAT TYPE OF CERTIFICATION DO YOUR DRIVERS OBTAIN?
Our drivers are required to have a valid license, be 18 years of age, and pass a background check and driver certification before starting work.
HOW ARE THE DRIVERS PAID?
Drivers are independent contractors and are paid via direct deposit. 1099 Forms are issued for tax purposes. The pay is usually commissions plus tips, but in some cases, minimum hourly guarantees are in place.
WHAT TYPE OF VEHICLE WILL I USE?
Each driver must have a vehicle suitable for delivering small to medium size packages of beverages, usually just a few bags but sometimes several cases. It is recommended that you use a fuel efficient vehicle in good condition for deliveries.
WHO PAYS FOR MY GAS AND TOLLS?
You are responsible for all your vehicle expenses, including gas and tolls.
WHAT ARE THE HOURS?
Once you pick up a shift, you are required to complete that time block. However, in most cases, you can choose which shifts or time blocks you wish to work.
HOW WILL I BE PICKING UP ORDERS?
The app will notify you that you have an order.
HOW WILL I GET MY SCHEDULE?
Using the Sling app, available on the app store or the play store, you will receive an invitation to register. Once registered, you pick up open shifts that become available.
